The Selection Rules Table

In the top right-hand area of the screen you can see a little table which is used to specify rules about what are the valid combinations of courses which students can take.

Each row takes on one of the following formats, explained via examples:

"atmost 2 S" means each student can only take at most 2 units of any course in group 'S'. The group is formed by all courses with the letter 'S' in their 'Groups' field. The letter 'S' could loosely refer to all (S)cience subjects, for instance.

"atleast 2 A" means each student must take at least two units of group 'A' course(s).
